Amaç

The purpose of the program is to train auxiliary medical personnel who will apply medical methods related to putting the patient to sleep for surgery according to the doctor's instructions and who will assist the doctor in anesthesia studies.

Önceki Öğrenimin Tanınması

Students can apply for exemption from courses that they have already taken and completed from higher education institutions in which they have previously enrolled or from an organization that has accepted equivalence. Exemption requests are decided by the board of directors, if necessary, taking into account the opinion of the instructor who teaches the relevant course.

Program Yeterliliği

Cognitive, Practical

Performs anesthesia applications in coordination with the anesthesiologist before, during and after any surgical procedure in which anesthesia is needed.
Performs preparation of anesthesia devices and equipment before the procedure and control after the procedure.
Prepares and applies drugs, liquids, blood and blood products that the anesthesiologist deems appropriate according to the needs of the patient.
During the procedure, the patient is monitored, vital signs are checked and all ordered treatments are applied.

For this reason, our students who have graduated from our program have the opportunity to work in all areas where anesthesia is needed. Our graduates who want to continue their education can make a vertical transfer to the relevant undergraduate programs if they succeed in the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by OSYM.These programs include; Emergency Assistance and Disaster Management, Nursing Bachelor's programs of the Faculties of Health Management, Social Work, EEF.

Ölçme ve Değerlendirme

In order for each student to register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and take the final exam, they must attend at least 80% of the courses and practices. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (the scores obtained from measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, quiz can also be evaluated) to the success grade is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. A student who receives one of the letter grades of AA, BA, BB, CB and CC from a course is deemed to have succeeded in that course. DC and DD grades are conditionally successful grades. In order for the student to be successful in a course in which he received a DC or DD grade, the grade point average (ANO) for that semester must be at least 2.00.
